The International Aspirin Foundation welcomes Professor Daniel José Piňeiro as an associate member for South America

Professor Daniel José Piňeiro joins the International Aspirin Foundation (IAF) as associate member for South America. In this capacity he will provide a link to information and research about aspirin in South America and will help the IAF achieve its international role.
Daniel Piňeiro is Professor of Medicine at Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina and a Trustee for the American College of Cardiology. He has over 40 years of experience as a medical doctor, teacher and researcher. He is an active participant at international meetings, sits on ten editorial boards and has over 100 full article publications. He will bring a wealth of knowledge to IAF and add an important geographical persepective.
Professor Lina Badimon, of the International Aspirin Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board states; “We are delighted to welcome Professor Piňeiro as associate member of the IAF, where he will help us fulfil our quest to coordinate world-wide research and understanding of aspirin.
